Следственный комитет объявил о завершении расследования уголовного дела, касающегося изнасилования девушки в Москве в 2018 году. Обвиняемым является иностранный гражданин, который вскоре предстанет перед судом.
Преступление было совершено в июне 2018 года на Складочной улице столицы. По данным следствия, злоумышленник напал на потерпевшую, воспользовавшись отсутствием свидетелей, угрожал ей ножом, после чего совершил изнасилование и скрылся.
Несмотря на то, что преступнику удавалось скрываться в течение нескольких лет, следователи смогли установить его личность и местонахождение благодаря комплексу сложных судебных экспертиз. Выяснилось, что на момент поимки иностранец уже отбывал наказание в колонии за другие преступления. Его доставили в Москву, где ему было предъявлено обвинение по пункту «б» части 2 статьи 131 Уголовного кодекса РФ, предусматривающей наказание за изнасилование, соединенное с угрозой убийством или причинением тяжкого вреда здоровью. Дело передается в суд для дальнейшего рассмотрения.
Investigation Concludes in 2018 Moscow Rape Case: Foreign National to Face Court
The Investigative Committee has announced the completion of the criminal investigation into the 2018 rape of a woman in Moscow. A foreign national has been charged and is set to appear in court soon.
The crime occurred in June 2018 on Skladochnaya Street in the capital. According to the investigation, the assailant attacked the victim, taking advantage of the absence of witnesses, threatened her with a knife, then committed the rape and fled the scene.
Although the perpetrator managed to evade capture for several years, investigators were able to establish his identity and whereabouts through a series of complex forensic examinations. It was revealed that at the time of his apprehension, the foreign national was already serving a sentence in a penal colony for other crimes. He was subsequently transported to Moscow, where he was charged under Article 131, Part 2, point «b» of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which pertains to rape combined with a threat of murder or infliction of grievous bodily harm. The case is now being transferred to court for further proceedings.
